The WGRN management staff met last week and voted on the Fall 2008 Jimmy Award winner. The Jimmy Award is given to a student who has worked in the radio station over the semester. This student must be nominated in class and then chosen by the WGRN staff. This year’s Jimmy Award recipient is Molly Miller. Molly is a freshman from Hilliard, Ohio. She will be transferring to Ashland University in the spring to study Radio and Television Broadcasting. Congratulations and best wishes to Molly!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is hosting the Fall Midnight Breakfast on Wednesday, December 10. It will be held in the dining commons from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Thursday. This semester’s theme is “Game Night” and participants are encouraged to come dressed as characters from board games or video games. A costume contest will be held and the winner will receive a prize. There will also be a slideshow and music from the Pragmatic. Don’t miss out on the Fall 2008 Midnight Breakfast!

Tonight, the Lady Panthers of Greenville College are hosting Principia College at 7:00 in the H.J. Long Gymnasium. The men will follow up that action when they take on Logan College at 8:00.
